COMM-G201, Communication Theory

What I learned

This class was entirely discussion based rather than assignment based. In this course I learned about many communication theories. The discussion environment allowed me to not only understand these theories, but also helped with analyzing a communication issue and applying different theories. Overall, this course helped me to create an open mind and to think outside of the box to find creative solutions.

  • Effectively apply skills and knowledge learned in communication studies coursework to practical collaborative and professional efforts.

  • Critically analyze and create practical and meaningful messages appropriate to audience, purpose, and context.
