Volunteer Experience

North Carolina Hurricane Relief (2025)

Volunteering at Baptists on Mission included:

• Cleanup - Remove debris, fallen trees, damaged structures. 

• Rebuild - Tear down damaged walls, floors, etc. Sanding walls, painting, insulation, and flooring installation.

• Long Term Recovery - Reconstruct school building into long term housing for future volunteers.

So much work was unexpectedly completed they ran out of things for us to do but found work for the remaining volunteer time.
